Sushi with Gusto has Sushi bars in several states of USA:

These sushi bars are all staffed by trained, independent contractor chefs. They are located in the following chains; Albertsons, Winn-Dixie, The Fresh Market, Milams, Woodmans and several strong independent stores. And we also have sushi bars at several universities.

If you have been preparing sushi for at least six months and would like to have your own store, please download the application, and either e-mail or fax it back to us.

If you decide to join us, you will be required to come to Greer, South Carolina for a week of intensive training.

Even though the training fee is free, we can't provide any lodging facilities. So if you need a lodging facility during your training, please look for it by yourself.

You will also be required to have a professional food manager's certification for operating a sushi bar. So if you do not already have one, you can take a test here. To take a test, you'll be charged for it and also if you need a "Serv-Safe" text, you can purchase it, too.

What is different about Sushi with Gusto?

  • You do not have to have a lot of money to come to our training. We do not charge a fee other than for your Serv-Safe certification (and textbook).
  • You do not have to pay shipping costs to us. You will use the nearest approved Japanese supply house.
